I wish I could have said good-bye.
But then again I know,
If I had the opportunity...
I couldn't have brought those sad,
Lonely, and final words to my lips.

You are a great friend,
Who deserved to live longer than
Anyone else I know...
Because you have had to prove yourself
Over and over again.

Your weakness was your strength
And you never faultered.
You always had a smile upon your face.
You were always a true friend.
You taught me the meaning of that word...

Friendship.

You taught me how to be myself.
I learned that no matter what
Obstacle came into my life...
There was always a way to get by.

Even now that you are gone.
I can still feel your presence.
Your wisdom and strength lives
Inside the hearts of every person,
Of every soul you have ever touched,
With your caring and loving heart.
